Teen's Karate

The teen's karate program is geared towards children between the ages of 12 - 16 years old. In our teen's karate program, teens learn traditional Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate-do through a highly dynamic and energetic program.

Teens of the program are intensely concentrated on becoming their best selves. The class is highly energetic. Teens of the class work very hard, and always leave class feeling like they've had an excellent workout.

In our teen program we focus on developing their competitive nature while adhering the the values that traditional karate-do develops in each participant.

There is a heavy emphasis on developing the proper etiquette and respect required to be a world-class karate student for life.

By enrolling your child into our program, you're starting them on a path of self-discovery. They will become stronger physically and mentally as they progress through the belt ranks.

My twins have been taking karate lessons for 8 months now and they absolutely love it! Sensei Sean is extremely patient and very encouraging to all his students. He challenges them to be the best version of themselves and the children all support and encourage each other which is so wonderful to see. This is an excellent program, suitable to all kids and I’d highly recommend it!

My daughter started taking karate classes almost a year ago at age 9. Her training has been a tremendous boost to her confidence as well as her physical conditioning. She has also been given the opportunity to attend seminars, competitions, and extra training classes without any pressure from Sensei Sean, but always with positive encouragement. As a parent I love that she is being active and able to be part of the team, but also able to work at her own level. Most of all I am grateful that Sensei incorporates the value of  hard work, respect, discipline, and dedication into his training and lessons with his students.

Our 10-year-old son was hesitant to enroll in karate but since he has there is no looking back. He enjoys the discipline karate brings his life and loves the strength he gains while training. Sensei Gore has nurtured and cultivated a drive for respect for both himself but also others. Thank you, Sensei Sean, for the support and skills you bring our son!
